Bio

Peter joined the board of the FSASA in 2022 after completing a Contemporary Art degree at UniSA. He brings with him a unique blend of experiences and interests with a background in emergency services as an operational firefighter, and a passion for art that saw him study part-time for over six years to complete his degree. With his background in emergency services, Peter brings a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills to his role on the board.

As an artist, Peter recognizes the cathartic properties of engaging in artistic expression, and he values the role that creativity continues to play in his life. Working across various disciplines allows Peter to explore different mediums and techniques, enhancing his ability to interpret and convey his perceptions of reality and truth through his artwork. His use of metaphor and allegory to convey deeper meanings and insights demonstrates his thoughtfulness and intentionality in his artistic practice.
