The Friends of SASA aim to promote the work, history, and development of the South Australian School of Art and its students using the outstanding expertise, experience and collegial nature of its past and present scholars and staff
The Friends of the South Australian School of Art Inc. was first formed in 2008 with the main aim of completing a history of the South Australian School of Art. The FSASA is a not-for-profit organisation and is managed by its Board in accordance with the requirements of its Constitution.
FSASA promotes the SA School of Art, its academics, students and FSASA members
The Friends supports students of SASA through scholarships, its members and SA’s artists.
This Project was set up to develop a publication that traces the 150-year history of the South Australian School of Art. A draft version of this publication - South Australian School of Art: 150 years shaping South Australian Visual Arts & Culture is now available.
To date $30,000 in scholarships has been given to students studying visual arts at the SASA/ AAD of UNISA
FSASA Board promotes the work, history and development of SASA.
FSASA provides opportunities for student & member exhibitions, conversations about art, workshops and more.
